How to check them
- Download your work-life report (fastest by SMS, no Cl@ve).
- Review the days column for each period and the accumulated total.
- Make sure no employer or period is missing.
Why they matter
- Unemployment: the SEPE uses recent contribution days to decide eligibility and duration.
- Pension: they determine whether you reach the minimum contribution period and affect the amount.

How many days do I need for unemployment benefit?
Contributory unemployment benefit requires a minimum number of days contributed in recent years; the SEPE calculates the duration from your accumulated days. Check your specific case with the SEPE.
Do self-employed days count the same?
Periods under the self-employed scheme (RETA) also appear in the work-life report and count, although access rules for some benefits differ from the general scheme.
