Cl@ve: advanced registration and activation of Cl@ve Permanente/Firma (Gestión 1: Digital Adicional)
You register in Cl@ve at advanced level and activate Cl@ve Permanente/Cl@ve Firma so you can sign and do serious online procedures. This is for people who already use Cl@ve PIN or who need a higher level (Hacienda, Seguridad Social, Extranjería, etc.).

- 1.Go to https://clave.gob.es/clave_Home/registro.html and check whether you are already in Cl@ve and which level you have (log in with Cl@ve PIN if you already use it).
- 2.Book an appointment for “Registro Cl@ve” at AEAT via https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es/Sede/cita-previa.html (choose in-person service and the Registro Cl@ve procedure).
- 3.Attend the office on the appointment day with your DNI/NIE/TIE; they will have you sign the registration and upgrade you to advanced level (about 10 minutes).
- 4.Activate Cl@ve Permanente at https://clave.gob.es/clave_Home/clave-permanente.html: enter your details, receive an SMS and set your password.
- 5.Activate Cl@ve Firma at https://clave.gob.es/clave_Home/clave-firma.html (it relies on Cl@ve Permanente; it will ask you to confirm with an SMS).
- 6.Install the Cl@ve PIN app from https://clave.gob.es/clave_Home/clave-pin.html and run a test on a site (for example, Mi Carpeta Ciudadana: https://carpetaciudadana.gob.es).
