- 1.Go to https://clave.gob.es and open “Registro/gestión de Cl@ve”. Click “Accede a tus datos” and identify yourself with Cl@ve PIN, certificado digital or DNIe.
- 2.Activate Cl@ve Permanente: inside Gestión choose “Alta en Cl@ve Permanente”. You’ll get an SMS. Enter the code, set your password and confirm the activation.
- 3.Enable Cl@ve Firma: in the management menu go to “Cl@ve Firma”, accept the terms and confirm with an SMS code. They’ll ask for a test signature to finish.
- 4.Check it works: visit a site that supports Cl@ve Permanente (for example, https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es) and pick “Cl@ve Permanente”. Enter your DNI/NIE and password; if asked, validate the one‑time code from the app.
- 5.Review your contact details at https://clave.gob.es (Gestión de Cl@ve > Modificar datos) and update mobile/email if needed.
- 6.If you changed phones, reactivate the App Cl@ve from Gestión de Cl@ve (reactivation option) or use certificado/DNIe to change the number before you get locked out.
