How to register for Cl@ve and add an extra access method (activate Cl@ve PIN/Cl@ve Permanente, link your mobile and the app). Useful when the administration asks for higher security or if you changed phones and no codes arrive.

- 1.Go to https://clave.gob.es and choose "Registrarte en Cl@ve" using certificado digital FNMT or DNIe for instant registration.
- 2.If you don't have a certificado, request the carta de invitación from the AEAT at https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es (search "Registro Cl@ve con carta") or book a presencial appointment for "Registro Cl@ve".
- 3.Book an appointment at https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es for an in-person registration (bring your DNI/TIE). At the office they verify your ID and activate Cl@ve immediately.
- 4.Install the Cl@ve PIN (AAPP) on your phone and link it from clave.gob.es using the QR/code the system gives you or via SMS.
- 5.Activate Cl@ve Permanente from clave.gob.es (Gestión de Cl@ve Permanente) and set your password if you need continuous authentication or to sign some procedures.
- 6.Optional: obtain a certificado digital FNMT as an extra method at https://www.sede.fnmt.gob.es/certificados/persona-fisica/obtener-certificado-software and store it in your browser for stronger registrations and signatures.
