Guía completa

What you need to have to hand
  1. Cl@ve, certificado digital o DNIe. No e-ID, no progress past the start screen.
  2. Informe de vida laboral up to date. Request it beforehand and avoid gaps.
  3. Contracts/company certificates where duties are shown, not just the job title.
  4. Non-formal courses (if you have them): diplomas with hours and contents.
  5. Your CV and a clear idea of which qualification in the catalogue fits you.
  6. Empadronamiento or proof of tie to your CCAA (if requested).
Documentation
  • DNI/NIE in force, well scanned.
  • Informe de vida laboral (last full years). If you were self-employed, add RETA and any modelos that prove activity.
  • Company certificates detailing functions and periods. If they refuse, use contracts and payslips showing category and centre.
  • Course diplomas (non-formal) with syllabus and hours. If online, download the diploma and programme.
  • CV and, if your CCAA asks, a self-assessment by units of competence.
  • Sworn translations if any document is in another language.
Step by step
  1. Find your CCAA on the official page: https://www.todofp.es/que-como-y-donde-estudiar/acreditacion-competencias.html and follow the link for your comunidad.
  2. ID yourself on your CCAA sede with Cl@ve/certificado and choose the qualification to accredit. If unsure, many sedes have a task search.
  3. Fill the application and attach PDFs: Informe de vida laboral, contracts/company certificates, courses and CV. If annexes need signing, use AutoFirma.
  4. Fees: mostly Free; if your CCAA charges for advisor/evaluation, pay on the sede or with their carta de pago and upload the receipt.
  5. Advising: they assign an advisor who checks your evidence. Attend appointments and upload missing docs on time.
  6. Evaluation: interview, evidence check and, if required, a practical test or workplace observation. They’ll tell you which units you pass.
  7. Resolution: you get notified on the sede. Download the accreditation for passed units. If you’re missing parts, they’ll say which modules to take or how to request the certificado de profesionalidad.
Time-savers and tricks
  • Request your Informe de vida laboral early and in PDF. If a period is missing, sort it before applying.
  • Make single PDFs per block (contracts, certificates, courses) to avoid file limits.
  • Name files clearly: "VidaLaboral_2026.pdf", "Contratos_2016-2026.pdf". The advisor will thank you.
  • AutoFirma usually works better with Firefox and updated Java. Mobile signing rarely works well.
  • If you can’t find your qualification, search by family profesional and tasks; names can be weird.
  • Ask the advisor which exact modules you lack for the full certificate and where to take them locally.
Typical mistakes that can ruin the procedure
  1. Filing in a CCAA where you have no tie: they may reject it and you waste time.
  2. Uploading an outdated Informe de vida laboral: they can ask for subsanación and eat your deadline.
  3. Company certificates without functions: they don’t prove units; ask the company to list tasks.
  4. Not checking the sede: if they give 10 days to fix something and you don’t log in, they archive your file.
  5. Signing failures: without AutoFirma or with incompatible browsers you’ll get stuck. Test with Firefox on a PC.
  6. Thinking you get a title automatically: you get units, not a full title. Plan how to finish what’s missing.
  1. 1.Go to the official Accreditation of Competences page and pick your CCAA: https://www.todofp.es/que-como-y-donde-estudiar/acreditacion-competencias.html
  2. 2.Open the procedure for your comunidad on its sede electrónica, ID with Cl@ve/certificado and fill the application indicating the professional qualification that fits you.
  3. 3.Attach on the sede your Informe de vida laboral, contracts/company certificates of duties, courses and CV as PDFs. If they ask for electronic signing of annexes, use AutoFirma.
  4. 4.If your CCAA charges an evaluation/advice fee, pay it on the same sede or with their carta de pago and upload the receipt. If not, continue without paying.
  5. 5.Wait to be assigned an advisor. They will contact you to review evidence and prepare the evaluation. Watch your sede inbox and email.
  6. 6.Evaluation phase: interview, evidence review and, if needed, a practical test or workplace observation. Submit what they ask for within the deadline.
  7. 7.Download the resolution from the sede. With the accredited units, they’ll advise how to complete missing modules or how to request the certificado de profesionalidad when applicable.
  • DNI/NIE en vigor (front and back in a single PDF)
  • Cl@ve, certificado digital o DNIe to sign the application
  • Informe de vida laboral reciente (últimos 10 años si puedes)
  • Contracts, company certificates or payslips showing duties and time periods
  • Diplomas of non-formal courses (include hours, contents and issuing organisation)
  • Detailed CV and self-assessment by qualification (as per your CCAA guide)
  • Certificado de empadronamiento or proof of tie to the CCAA where you apply
  • If training is foreign: sworn translation and, if needed, homologación/convalidación
