If you've passed 4º de ESO and want the official Título de ESO or a duplicate, here's how to do it straight. Useful for oposiciones, FP, jobs that ask for the title and to stop relying on the resguardo.

- 1.Ask your institute's secretariat for your “certificación académica de ESO” or confirm they have proposed you for the title (they usually tell you at the centre).
- 2.Generate and pay the issuance fee on your CCAA's tax portal (Tasa por expedición de títulos no universitarios; Modelo 046/030 or equivalent). Pay online and save the justificante/NRC.
- 3.Fill in the “Solicitud de expedición del Título de Graduado en ESO” on the sede electrónica de Educación of your CCAA with Cl@ve (or take the paper form to your centre if they do it that way). Attach DNI and proof of fee/exemption.
- 4.Download or collect the “resguardo de solicitud de título” (with sello or CSV). That paper protects you for enrolment, lists and opos while the physical card arrives.
- 5.Wait for the notification. They will give you an appointment to collect the physical título at your institute or at the Delegación/Servicio Provincial de Educación. Bring your DNI (and the resguardo).
- 6.If you need a duplicate (loss, damage, data change), submit the specific request in your CCAA, attach the required documents (declaración de extravío or the damaged title; Registro Civil docs) and pay the corresponding fee.
