Arraigo social: residence after 3 years in Spain (EX-10)
If you’ve been here 3 years and can show a contract or family links plus an informe de integración, this gives you residence (and a work permit if applicable). You file online via Mercurio with Cl@ve and then go for fingerprints to get the TIE.

- 1.Gather proof of the 3 years: ask for the certificado de empadronamiento histórico at your ayuntamiento and keep bills/medical receipts/mail as backup.
- 2.Get the certificado de antecedentes penales from your country, apostille/legalise it and have it translated by a traductor jurado. Make sure it’s no older than 3 months (or 90 days where specified).
- 3.Request the Informe de integración social at your ayuntamiento/CCAA (usually an interview with servicios sociales) and download it when ready.
- 4.Fill in the EX-10 and pay the residency fee 790-052 at https://sede.administracionespublicas.gob.es/pagina/index/directorio/tasa052 (generate the PDF and pay).
- 5.If you’re applying with a contract, prepare the signed contract and have the employer ready with their NIF and proof of economic capacity; the 790-062 is at https://sede.administracionespublicas.gob.es/pagina/index/directorio/tasa062 (they usually ask for it after admission).
- 6.Submit the application online with Cl@ve in https://mercurio.delegaciondelgobierno.gob.es/mercurio/modoAcceso.html attaching EX-10, passport, empadronamiento, penales, informe de integración and contract/links.
- 7.When you get a favourable notice, book the fingerprints (TIE) at https://icp.administracionelectronica.gob.es/icpplus/, pay the 790-012 (https://sede.policia.gob.es/Tasa790_012/) and go with a photo, passport and the resolution; then collect the TIE when they tell you.
