This is the report that proves your integration in Spain to apply for arraigo social or to save a renewal if you’re missing a requirement. Your comunidad autónoma/ayuntamiento issues it and then you attach it to your Extranjería file.

- 1.Check the Portal de Inmigración to see when this report is required (arraigo social/esfuerzo de integración): https://extranjeros.inclusion.gob.es/es/
- 2.Book an appointment at your comunidad/ayuntamiento for “Informe de Arraigo/Integración” (usually with Cl@ve). Example Madrid: https://www.comunidad.madrid/servicios/atencion-social/informe-arraigo-social
- 3.Attend the interview with the documents. They assess arraigo (address, links, participation, courses). Sign the authorisation so they can check your data.
- 4.They notify you the Informe de Integración (electronically if your comunidad uses sede and Cl@ve, or on paper). Download or pick it up when they tell you.
- 5.Submit your main application to Extranjería attaching the report (arraigo social or renewal) in Mercurio: https://sede.administracionespublicas.gob.es/mercurio/inmigracion
- 6.If they then grant the residence, book huellas (TIE) at https://sede.administracionespublicas.gob.es/icpplus and pay the tasa 790-012 (that part is Policía Nacional).
