Request the gender gap supplement on your pension (Gestión 14 · INSS)
If you already get an INSS contributory pension (retirement, widowhood or disability) and you had children, this is where you ask to add the gender gap supplement. Useful if it wasn’t recognised automatically or if you were denied and want to insist.

- 1.Check your pension is INSS and contributory. If it’s Clases Pasivas (Hacienda), this is not handled by the INSS.
- 2.Log in with Cl@ve at the Sede de la Seguridad Social: https://sede.seg-social.gob.es and go to Tu Seguridad Social > your pension. Look for “Solicitar complemento por brecha de género”.
- 3.If you don’t see the option, use the Registro Electrónico Común: https://rec.redsara.es choose Organismo “Instituto Nacional de la Seguridad Social (INSS)”, asunto “Solicitud complemento por brecha de género”, and attach the documentation in PDF.
- 4.Fill in the application, stating how many children you have and attach the libro de familia / certificates. If you’re a man, add the proofs of impact on your career.
- 5.Submit and save the receipt (registration number / CSV). Keep copies of everything on your computer.
- 6.Watch notifications at https://notificaciones.060.es and on the Sede. If they ask for subsanación, reply within the deadline attaching what’s missing by the same channel.
- 7.When it’s granted, check the first payment. If it’s wrong or they deny it, file a reclamación previa through the same registro within the deadline.
