Can I request it for my child?

Yes. If your portal supports digital representation, log in as guardian and download it. If not, go to the centre with your DNI and libro de familia or guardianship document and they’ll print it.

Does it include COVID or do I need the EU COVID certificate?

The vaccination history usually includes COVID if it’s registered. The old certificado COVID UE is a different format; some CCAA still let you download it from their portal, but it’s rarely requested now.

How long if vaccines are missing?

Online is immediate. If the centre has to register old or private vaccines, it depends on workload: it can take 2-15 días. If you’re in a hurry, bring clear reports with dates and batch numbers.

Will they give it to me in English?

Some CCAA allow language selection on download. If not, ask your centre for a bilingual certificate or an official translation. Ask at the health centre administration.

Can I do it without Cl@ve or certificado digital?

Yes, in person at your health centre with your DNI. They will print it there. If it’s for a minor, also take the libro de familia and, if possible, the carné de vacunación.

1.Go to your CCAA health portal and log in with Cl@ve or certificado (e.g.: Cataluña https://lamevasalut.gencat.cat, Madrid https://www.comunidad.madrid/servicios/salud/tarjeta-sanitaria-virtual, Andalucía https://www.sspa.juntadeandalucia.es/servicioandaluzdesalud/ciudadania/clicsalud, Galicia https://esaude.sergas.gal, Euskadi https://www.osakidetza.euskadi.eus).
2.Look for the “Vacunación/Historial vacunal” section or similar and click “Certificado” or “Descargar”.
3.Choose language and type of certificate (all vaccines or a specific one, if available) and confirm.
4.Download the PDF with CSV/QR and save it. If someone needs to verify it, send that PDF untouched.
5.If vaccines are missing (common if you were vaccinated privately or in another CCAA), upload scans of the carné/reports from the health folder if it has an “aportación de documentación” option.
6.If your portal doesn’t allow downloads or you need it for a minor without digital representation, book a face-to-face appointment at your health centre and they’ll print it (e.g.: Madrid https://www.comunidad.madrid/servicios/salud/cita-sanitaria, Andalucía https://www.sspa.juntadeandalucia.es/servicioandaluzdesalud/ciudadania/cita-medica).
