Guía completa

What you need to have at hand
  1. Cl@ve or digital certificate/DNIe. Without this you'll need the electronic registry.
  2. DNI/NIE and Tarjeta Sanitaria Individual (TSI) with your mobile updated.
  3. Vaccination card and certificates for doses given outside your CCAA.
  4. If requesting for a minor: libro de familia or signed authorisation.
Documentation
  • DNI o NIE scanned (both sides if NIE + TIE).
  • TSI or CIP/CIPA of your CCAA.
  • Vaccination book/card and, if applicable, certificates from the centre where you were vaccinated.
  • Translation if the proof is not in Spanish.
  • Authorisation and libro de familia for minors or dependents.
  • Empadronamiento only if they ask for it because you don't appear in the regional database.
Step by step
  1. Access your CCAA health portal and log in with Cl@ve/certificate:
  2. Look for 'Certificados' or 'Vacunación'. If your vaccines are listed, download the certificate immediately (PDF).
  3. Missing doses? Upload the proofs from the portal (if it allows) and request a volcado al registro vacunal.
  4. If your portal lacks that option or you can't log in, submit an application via the REC: https://rec.redsara.es/registro/action/are/acceso.do. Address it to Dirección General de Salud Pública of your CCAA, request “Certificado de vacunación” and attach DNI, TSI and the vaccination card.
  5. Keep an eye on notifications in the Carpeta Ciudadana (https://carpetaciudadana.gob.es) and on email/SMS in case they ask you to fix something.
  6. Once they confirm the upload, return to the portal and download the updated PDF. If you need a bilingual version or a stamp, ask at your health centre or vaccination unit.
Time-saving tricks
  • Check your mobile number on the TSI before trying to log in. Without SMS you'll lose time.
  • If vaccinated elsewhere, put everything in a single PDF ordered (dose, dates, batch) so Salud Pública can process it faster.
  • Cl@ve advanced level or digital certificate: fewer headaches than SMS.
  • If it's urgent, state the deadline (enrolment, travel) in the REC request and attach proof; they sometimes prioritise.
Common mistakes to avoid
  • Uploading blurry photos of the card: they won't register them and will ask you to repeat.
  • Assuming the certificate will be complete instantly after uploading external vaccines: the upload takes days or weeks.
  • Not being registered as the child's representative and expecting to download their certificate: if the portal doesn't recognise you, you need authorisation and REC.
  • Using obscure browsers: many health portals work better in Chrome or with Java up to date. Try another browser before giving up.
  1. 1.Go to your regional health portal and ID yourself with Cl@ve or digital certificate/DNIe: Madrid (https://www.comunidad.madrid/servicios/salud/carpeta-salud), Cataluña (https://lamevasalut.gencat.cat), Andalucía (https://www.sspa.juntadeandalucia.es/servicioandaluzdesalud/clicsaludplus).
  2. 2.Go to the 'Mi historia/Certificados' section and choose 'Certificado de vacunación' or 'Resumen de inmunización'. If your vaccines are already recorded, download the PDF immediately.
  3. 3.If doses are missing (you were vaccinated in another CCAA/country), upload the proofs from the portal itself (option 'Aportar documentación' or 'Comunicar vacunas externas', if available) and request they be added to your vaccination record.
  4. 4.If your portal doesn't allow uploads or you have no access, submit an application via the Registro Electrónico Común (https://rec.redsara.es/registro/action/are/acceso.do) addressed to your Dirección General de Salud Pública, requesting 'Certificado de vacunación' and attaching DNI, TSI and vaccination card.
  5. 5.Check your Carpeta Ciudadana (https://carpetaciudadana.gob.es) and the 'Mis notificaciones' area of the registry in case they ask you to fix something or they upload the certificate.
  6. 6.When they confirm the upload of vaccines, go back to your CCAA portal and download the updated certificate. Save the PDF and, if you need it in another language, request a bilingual version at your health centre or vaccination unit.
  • DNI or NIE scanned on both sides
  • Tarjeta Sanitaria Individual (TSI) of your CCAA or CIP/CIPA number
  • Vaccination book/card (legible photos or PDF)
  • Proof of vaccines given outside your CCAA or abroad (certificate from the centre; translation if not in Spanish)
  • Representation document if you request it for your child or a relative (libro de familia or signed authorisation + DNI of the represented person)
  • Empadronamiento reciente if you are not registered in your regional health service (only if they ask for it)
