Hunting and/or river fishing licence (your autonomous community)
Procedure to get or renew the licence that lets you hunt or fish in your autonomous community. You can do it online with Cl@ve, there’s a mandatory hunter’s insurance linked to the licence, and you must follow the regional rules.

- 1.Open the list of licences by community on MITECO and click your community: https://www.miteco.gob.es/es/biodiversidad/temas/caza/
- 2.Identify yourself on your community’s sede with Cl@ve, certificado digital or DNIe and choose “Licencia de caza” or “Licencia de pesca fluvial” (new issue or renewal)
- 3.Upload the hunter aptitude certificate (or tick convalidation if applicable). For fishing a declaración responsable usually suffices
- 4.Attach the insurance policy and the paid receipt, or tick the option to buy the basic insurance during the procedure (if your community offers it)
- 5.Pay the regional fee with card or generate the NRC and pay at your bank (many CCAA use Modelo 046)
- 6.Download the licence PDF immediately and you’ll get it by email. If you request a physical card, they mail it to your address in the following days
