- 1.Gather everything, get apostillas and sworn translations. Scan into clear PDFs (no blurry photos).
- 2.Log in to https://sede.inclusion.gob.es with Cl@ve or certificate and file the “Autorización de residencia para inversores (Ley 14/2013)” with the UGE-CE. Attach documents and pay the fee online.
- 3.If you’re outside Spain, apply for the investor visa at the Spanish Consulate with the same documents and enter Spain with that visa.
- 4.Watch notifications on the sede and your carpeta ciudadana: the UGE-CE usually resolves in 20 días hábiles (silencio positivo). Download the favourable resolution.
- 5.Book a ‘Toma de huellas (expedición TIE)’ appointment at https://sede.administracionespublicas.gob.es/icpplustie/, pay the tasa 790-012 at https://sede.policia.gob.es/Tasa790_012/ and print the EX-17.
- 6.Go to the police station with passport, favourable resolution, EX-17, proof of payment of tasa 790-012, photo and (if they ask) empadronamiento. They take your fingerprints and give you a receipt.
- 7.Around 3–6 weeks later you collect the TIE with the receipt and your passport.
