- 1.Go to the Sede del Ministerio de Justicia: https://sede.mjusticia.gob.es/es/tramites/certificado-antecedentes-penales
- 2.Identify yourself with Cl@ve PIN/Permanente, certificado digital or DNIe and allow access to your data.
- 3.Fill in your details and the purpose. If it’s for work/volunteering with minors, tick the exención de la tasa 790-006 and attach the organisation's proof.
- 4.If there’s no exemption: pay the tasa 790-006 via the payment gateway (card or direct debit) and keep the payment receipt (NRC/receipt).
- 5.Confirm the application and download the PDF certificate with a Código Seguro de Verificación (CSV). Save it; that’s what they will ask for.
- 6.If the site gives you trouble or you need paper for apostille: book a cita previa at https://citaprevia.mjusticia.gob.es and do it in the Gerencia Territorial/Registro Civil bringing your DNI and the Modelo 790-006 paid or your proof of exemption.
