Cédula de Beneficio Local at the Registro Civil (certificado de vecindad civil)
They asked you for a “Cédula de Beneficio Local” but that name doesn’t exist in Spain. What you actually need is a certificate from the Registro Civil (normally a certificado literal de nacimiento) that shows your vecindad civil. That’s what local authorities use for discounts or benefits.

- 1.Go to https://registrocivil.justicia.es and choose “Certificados” > “Nacimiento”. That’s the option that can include vecindad civil.
- 2.Identify yourself with Cl@ve (Cl@ve PIN or Cl@ve Permanente). If you don’t have it, register first.
- 3.Complete the application for the certificado literal de nacimiento and indicate the Registro Civil where you are registered.
- 4.In “Observaciones” explicitly request “certificado literal de nacimiento con constancia de la vecindad civil (equivalente a la cédula de beneficio local)”.
- 5.Attach, if applicable, the authorisation/representation and the document proving legitimate interest (if you’re not the holder).
- 6.Choose electronic delivery (download from the sede) or postal delivery. Send and save the receipt.
- 7.If your Registro Civil is not integrated in the platform, the system will tell you to process it in person: book a cita and submit the same request at your Registro Civil office.
