Step by step
- Sign on for unemployment. Register as a demandante de empleo at your regional service (SAE or SEXPE) and keep the DARDE. No DARDE = no subsidy.
- Count your peonadas. Check your vida laboral and company certificates. If you don’t reach the current minimum, don’t apply yet.
- Apply online. Go to https://sede.sepe.gob.es with Cl@ve/certificado and open Solicitudes de prestaciones > Subsidio para trabajadores eventuales agrarios (Andalucía/Extremadura).
- Fill and attach. Tick responsabilidades familiares if relevant, complete the declaración de rentas and upload empadronamiento, vida laboral and certificados of jornadas (PDF, legible).
- Send and save the receipt. You’ll get a registration number. If something’s missing they’ll request subsanación via the Sede or SMS. Check your expediente and upload what they ask.
- Keep your obligations. Renew your registration (sellar) when required and respond to offers/courses. If you get hired, declare it; they’ll suspend the subsidy while you work.
Tricks that save time
- Scan everything to PDF and keep file size small (under 5 MB per file). Large files cause upload errors on the Sede.
- Get your vida laboral updated the same day you submit: it avoids mismatches over jornadas.
- If you’re unsure between Subsidio Agrario and Renta Agraria, call SEPE before sending. One wrong click costs weeks.
- Upload a recent empadronamiento to avoid them asking for a newer one for “desfase”.
- If the Sede misbehaves, try Chrome on a desktop and clear cache. That’s a classic time-saver.
Typical errors that can ruin the process
- Applying out of time. The deadline is 15 días hábiles from when you meet the peonadas and are unemployed.
- No DARDE active. If you’re not registered as a jobseeker they will deny the claim.
- Uploading blurry photos. If they can’t read the jornadas, they ask for subsanación and delay everything.
- Confusing subsidy with renta. Pick the right trámite on the Sede del SEPE.
- Not renewing (sellar). One slip and they suspend payments.
- Not declaring odd jobs. Social Security cross-checks and you can get sanctions.

- 2.Check you meet the minimum peonadas in the previous 12 months. Get your vida laboral at https://sede.seg-social.gob.es and cross-check the company certificates.
- 3.Go to https://sede.sepe.gob.es and, with Cl@ve or certificado, open Solicitudes de prestaciones > Subsidio para trabajadores eventuales agrarios (Andalucía/Extremadura).
- 4.Fill the online form: tick family responsibilities if relevant, declare incomes, and attach PDF copies of empadronamiento, vida laboral and the company certificates showing jornadas.
- 5.Submit and save the electronic receipt. If something’s missing they’ll ask for subsanación via the Sede or SMS; check your expediente on the Sede del SEPE for notes.
- 6.Renew your jobseeker registration when required (sellar) and watch for SEPE calls/citations. If you accept an interview/course or get hired, the subsidy is paused.

Solo para Andalucía y Extremadura
You must live and be empadronado in Andalucía or Extremadura and be a seasonal agrarian worker. If you live in another comunidad, this does not apply.
Plazo corto: 15 días hábiles
You have 15 días hábiles from the moment you're unemployed and meet the peonadas to apply. If you miss it, they cut days of entitlement.
Peonadas mínimas
Generally they ask for 35 jornadas reales in the previous 12 months. Sometimes the BOE lowers that minimum for droughts or disasters; check the current rule before sending.
Confundirlo con la Renta Agraria
Not the same thing. Renta Agraria is a different SEPE procedure. Make sure you select the correct subsidy on the Sede del SEPE.
Sellar o te lo paran
If you don't renew your demanda de empleo on time or you refuse offers/actions from the employment service, suspension is immediate.
¿Qué necesito para completar Subsidio Agrario sin que me lo rechacen?
Subsidio Agrario es gratuito en SEPE y se puede presentar por cuenta propia. El punto que interrumpe el trámite es que hace falta Cl@ve activa, y si no está dada de alta el registro previo puede tardar días. Además, hay que aportar 5 documentos a lo largo de 7 pasos, y la sede rechaza el envío completo si un solo dato no coincide con el que consta en el registro. ¿Cuál es la diferencia entre Subsidio Agrario y Renta Agraria?
They are two different SEPE benefits for seasonal agrarian workers in Andalucía and Extremadura. Renta Agraria has its own form and requirements. If you apply for the wrong one, they'll deny it.
¿Cuántas peonadas necesito para pedirlo?
The usual requirement is 35 jornadas reales in the previous 12 months. Sometimes there are reductions for droughts or other causes published in the BOE; confirm the current minimum before applying.
¿Puedo trabajar unos días y seguir cobrándolo?
Generally the subsidy is incompatible with salaried work. If you get hired, declare it and they’ll suspend the subsidy; when the job ends you can resume if you still meet requirements.
¿Necesito cita previa para pedirlo?
If you do it online with Cl@ve or certificado, no. If you go in person for help, yes they usually require cita previa at the SEPE and it's hard to get.
¿Cómo justifico las jornadas reales?
With the certificados de empresa from the campaigns and what appears in your vida laboral. SEPE cross-checks with Seguridad Social, so the old cartilla isn’t needed.
¿Cuánto dura y cuánto se cobra?
It depends on your jornadas and whether you have family responsibilities. Duration and amount are calculated case-by-case under the current rules; you get the details in the resolución.
