- 1.Go to the DGT vehicle report page: https://sede.dgt.gob.es/es/vehiculos/informe-de-vehiculo/ or open the miDGT app.
- 2.If you are the owner, sign in with Cl@ve/certificado in miDGT and open your vehicle: Vehículos > Inspección técnica. There you see the ITV expiry date and the last result.
- 3.If you are NOT the owner and just want a quick check, on the website click “Informe reducido (gratuito)”, enter the registration plate and download the PDF. It will tell you if the ITV is valid and any basic issues.
- 4.If you need detail (last inspections, recorded kilometres, etc.), request the “Informe completo”. Pay the Tasa 4.1 (Informe de vehículo) by card and download the report immediately. If you already have a tasa code, use it. Fee info: https://sede.dgt.gob.es/es/tramites-y-multas/tasas/
- 5.Save the PDF or take a screenshot. If you just passed the ITV and it doesn’t show, wait 24–72 hours and check again (the update is not instant).
