- 1.Go to https://clave.gob.es/clave_Home/registro/Como-puedo-registrarme.html and choose the channel: certificado/DNIe, videollamada, presencial or carta con CSV.
- 2.If you have a certificado or DNIe: do the online registration from that page, identify with your certificado and confirm mobile and email. You’ll be registered instantly.
- 3.If you prefer videollamada: start the videollamada registration from the same page, show your DNI/NIE to the camera and they’ll activate you on the spot.
- 4.If you go by carta: request the invitation letter (CSV) from the registration section; when it arrives at home, return to the website, enter the CSV and complete the activation.
- 5.If you choose presencial: find an adhered office (AEAT, Seguridad Social, etc.) from the Cl@ve portal and register with your DNI/NIE; they’ll set it up for you immediately.
- 6.Activate Cl@ve Permanente: from clave.gob.es, go to the gestión de contraseña for Cl@ve Permanente, set your password and choose whether you’ll receive OTP by SMS or use the Cl@ve app.
- 7.Do a quick test: enter a sede (for example, https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es) and log in with Cl@ve Permanente to confirm the username, password and OTP work.
