- 1.The company goes to sede.inclusion.gob.es/procedimientos/ and submits “Residencia para profesionales altamente cualificados (Ley 14/2013)” using its certificado digital/Cl@ve, attaching all documents and paying the telematic fee.
- 2.If the UGE-CE asks for subsanación, upload the missing items in the same expediente within 10 días hábiles. Watch the buzón and Notificaciones closely.
- 3.With a favourable resolution: if you’re outside Spain, apply for the visa at your Consulate (exteriores: https://www.exteriores.gob.es/es/EmbajadasConsulados/Paginas/index.aspx). If you’re lawfully in Spain, you skip the visa step.
- 4.The company registers you with the Seguridad Social as soon as you enter or start (essential for the TIE). Keep the alta document.
- 5.Book an appointment for fingerprints (TIE) at https://sede.administracionespublicas.gob.es/icpplus/index.html → your province → POLICIA – TOMA DE HUELLAS (TIE).
- 6.Pay the Modelo 790 Código 012 at https://sede.policia.gob.es/Tasa790_012/ and go to the appointment with the payment receipt, passport, resolution, photo, empadronamiento and the Seguridad Social alta resguardo.
