1.Go to the Sede de la AEAT: https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es/Sede/Renta/deducciones-irpf/deduccion-maternidad/modelo-140.html and click Tramitar con Cl@ve (or use certificado).
2.Log in with Cl@ve (PIN or Permanente) and allow access to the Modelo 140 form.
3.Fill in your details and the child's: date of birth or adoption, and if there are two parents, who requests the payment.
4.State your employment situation: the Seguridad Social or mutualidad regime where you are registered and, if asked, your NAF.
5.Enter the IBAN where you want the monthly payment. Double-check the account number.
6.Submit the application and download the receipt (PDF). Keep it safe.
7.If anything changes (stop working without being re-registered, the child turns 3, change of account, death, adoption of a new child…), return to the same page and use Comunicación de variaciones/baja del Modelo 140.
