Early retirement: apply for your pension before the normal age
Application for an early retirement pension (voluntary or due to involuntary termination) before the INSS. Useful if you have the required years of contributions and want to bring retirement forward by up to 2 or 4 years, with the corresponding reducing coefficients.

- 1.Go to Tu Seguridad Social (https://tu.seg-social.gob.es) with Cl@ve, certificado digital or DNIe and use the Simulador de jubilación to check your age, type (voluntaria/involuntaria) and the penalty.
- 2.Download your Vida Laboral and the Informe de Bases de Cotización from Importass (https://importass.seg-social.es) to check gaps and the last years.
- 3.If you’re applying for involuntary termination: register as a claimant at SEPE (https://sede.sepe.gob.es) and maintain registration for 6 months; ask your employer for the certificado de cese/ERE or provide a court resolution.
- 4.Apply for retirement in Tu Seguridad Social: choose the date and type of anticipada, upload the documents (PDF), enter your IBAN and sign the application.
- 5.If you don’t have Cl@ve/certificado, book a cita previa at a CAISS of the INSS (https://sede.seg-social.gob.es/wps/portal/sede/sede/Ciudadanos/Cita+Previa) and submit the application and documents in person.
- 6.Check the status in Tu Seguridad Social > Mis gestiones and watch for Notificaciones (Carpeta Ciudadana: https://carpetaciudadana.gob.es) in case they ask you to fix something.
