Change of address on the Padrón (your ayuntamiento)
Municipal registry doesn't warn of errors. We deliver the proof, done right.
Procedure to tell your ayuntamiento where you live now and get registered at the new address. Useful if you move inside the same municipality or arrive from another one and want everything up to date (sanidad, school, paperwork, notifications).

- 1.Go to your ayuntamiento’s Sede Electrónica and open Padrón > Alta por cambio de domicilio (identify with Cl@ve, certificado digital or DNIe).
- 2.Fill the Hoja padronal online with the new address and the people to be registered; if coming from another municipality, tick that you authorise the baja automática.
- 3.Attach PDFs/JPGs of DNI/NIE/passports and the document proving occupation (contrato, escritura or IBI); if you aren’t the owner, add the autorización del titular and their DNI.
- 4.If there are minors, upload libro de familia/birth certificate and signed authorisations from both parents; add the custody sentencia if applicable.
- 5.Check that name, vía, número, portal and código postal are perfect; sign and register the application (keep the justificante de registro).
- 6.If the ayuntamiento asks, attend a verification (call/visit) or provide any extra document; once validated, they will enter you at the new address.
- 7.Download the volante de empadronamiento from your expediente on the sede; if you need a certificado, request it (some ayuntamientos charge a tasa for the certificado).
