Tarjeta Dorada municipal (senior/disability profile for transport and local services)

If you live in your municipio and are of a certain age or have a disability, this card (the “Tarjeta Dorada” profile) gives discounts/bonuses on bus, tram and other ayuntamiento services. It can make travel cheaper or even free depending on the municipio.

- 1.Go to your ayuntamiento’s sede. For Zaragoza: https://www.zaragoza.es/sede/servicio/tarjeta-ciudadana/ and choose to request a Tarjeta Ciudadana or activate the Dorada profile.
- 2.Identify with Cl@ve, Certificado digital or DNIe and complete the online form (personal details and reason: age, disability or pension).
- 3.Attach scanned documents in PDF/JPG (DNI/NIE, recent padrón, passport photo and, if applicable, disability or pension proofs).
- 4.Book a cita previa to verify documents and/or collect the card if it’s physical. Zaragoza: https://www.zaragoza.es/sede/servicio/cita-previa/
- 5.Attend the appointment with originals. They validate and activate the Dorada profile; if you don’t have a card, they either give it to you or give a pickup date.
- 6.Check the Dorada profile is active (municipal transport app/web or a top-up machine) and make your first top-up with the discounted fare.
