If you start a job while you’re receiving a prestación or subsidio, this is how you tell the SEPE you’ve taken extra work and choose whether to suspend or compatibilize. It avoids overpayments and lets them recalculate what you’re still due.

- 1.Go to https://sede.sepe.gob.es/mi-sepe with Cl@ve or certificado digital/DNIe.
- 2.Inside Mi SEPE, go to “Tu prestación” > “Comunicar colocación o variaciones”.
- 3.Choose “He empezado a trabajar” and mark full-time or part-time. Enter the start date and, if known, the duration.
- 4.Fill in the company details (NIF/CIF, name, CCC) and the percentage of the day. Upload the contrato or proof in PDF.
- 5.Select whether you want to compatibilizar or suspend the prestación (if the system allows it) and confirm.
- 6.Electronically sign the communication and download the registration receipt (PDF). Keep it safe.
- 7.Check the status in “Mis gestiones” on Mi SEPE. If after 48–72 h there’s no movement or you get errors, file the communication via the Registro Electrónico Común at https://rec.redsara.es addressed to the Dirección Provincial del SEPE and attach the contract.
