Grant to rehabilitate the façade (programas de rehabilitación MIVAU)
Energy certificates expire. Without a valid one, the contract may be voided.
Help to fix and insulate the façade (building envelope) of your home or building under the Ministry of Housing programmes, handled by your comunidad autónoma or ayuntamiento. Useful if you are the propietario/a or the comunidad and want to improve the façade and lower energy use.

- 1.Go to https://www.sedecatastro.gob.es and download the certificación catastral descriptiva y gráfica del inmueble (log in with Cl@ve or certificado and save the PDF).
- 2.Ask a technician for the IEE/ITE and the initial certificado energético; at the same time have them prepare the proyecto or memoria with the façade improvements (insulation, revoco, SATE, etc.).
- 3.Apply for the licencia de obra or submit a declaración responsable at your ayuntamiento’s sede electrónica (identify with Cl@ve and attach proyecto and presupuesto).
- 4.Find the aid convocatoria from your comunidad autónoma or ayuntamiento for façade/envelope rehabilitation (Programa 3 of RD 853/2021) and register in their sede electrónica with Cl@ve.
- 5.Fill in the online application: catastral data, ownership, budget, efficiency improvements, and upload all supporting PDFs. Submit and save the registration receipt.
- 6.When requested, provide subsanaciones within the deadline (normally 10 días hábiles). Once granted, carry out the work within the convocatoria timeframe. Then upload justification (final certificate, CEE final, photos, invoices and payments) so they can pay you.
