- 1.Request the company name at the Registro Mercantil Central: go to https://www.rmc.es and ask for the certificación negativa. You get it by email/download.
- 2.Go to the notary with the name and the statutes. Sign the escritura de constitución. The notary can send it electronically to the Registro Mercantil of your province.
- 3.Register the company at the provincial Registro Mercantil: if the notary didn’t do it, present the escritura via https://sede.registradores.org/site/mercantil or book an appointment at your Registro Mercantil. Pay aranceles and the BORME announcement.
- 4.Request a provisional NIF at the AEAT using Cl@ve or certificado digital: go to https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es, submit Modelo 036 (alta) attaching the escritura and the DNI/NIE of the administrator.
- 5.Once the Registry inscription is done, go back to the AEAT and request the NIF definitivo with a new Modelo 036 attaching the hoja registral. Tick the IAE epígrafes and other obligations (IVA, retentions, etc.).
- 6.If you aren’t exempt from IAE, file the alta with Modelo 840 at the AEAT and keep the receipt. Download and store all acknowledgements and the NIF certificate.
