- 1.Search for identical or similar marks at https://consultas2.oepm.es/Localizador/ (type the name and check by classes)
- 2.Decide which Nice classes you’ll protect and draft the products/services list (be concrete and avoid a messy list)
- 3.Log in to https://sede.oepm.gob.es with Cl@ve or certificate and choose Marcas y nombres comerciales > Presentar solicitud
- 4.Fill the form: type of mark (denominativa/figurativa/mixta), holder, classes and attach the logo if needed
- 5.Pay the fees on the sede (card or account debit) and save the receipt
- 6.Watch notifications and deadlines in Mis expedientes on the OEPM and in https://carpetaciudadana.gob.es (if there are suspensos or oppositions, respond electronically)
- 7.Optional but useful: register your trade name with AEAT via Modelo 036 for the census at https://sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es/Sede/procedimientos/G322.shtml (so it appears in your censo and on invoices)
