If you plan to franchise in Spain, you must register in the Registro de Franquiciadores of the Ministerio de Industria, Comercio y Turismo. It records your network, your brand and the DIP; if you skip it you risk sanctions.

- 1.Go to https://sede.comercio.gob.es/es-ES/tramites/Paginas/DetalleProcedimiento.aspx?IdProc=119 and log in with Cl@ve, certificado digital or DNIe.
- 2.If you don't have AutoFirma, install it from https://firmaelectronica.gob.es/Home/Descargas.html (it usually works better with Chrome or Edge).
- 3.Fill in the form "Inscripción en el Registro de Franquiciadores": data for the franchisor and representative, brand, CNAE, activity start date and scope.
- 4.Upload PDFs: the DIP, brand title/licence, annual accounts, deed and powers, and the list of franchisees and premises (watch file size limits).
- 5.Sign electronically with AutoFirma and submit. Download the receipt with CSV and keep it.
- 6.Check the status in "Mis expedientes" on the sede or via https://carpetaciudadana.gob.es. If they request corrections, submit what's missing within 10 días hábiles.
